Valve Exercising/ Ejercicio de válvula
HPUD will be conducting valve exercising throughout Heber. Valve exercising is the closing and opening of water valves at slow rates to ensure that they do not seize. If a valve is not exercised every so often it will seize and then break. Valve exercising is important because when a water break does happen it allows staff to isolate the area without shutting off the unaffected areas of Heber. Please see the map for more information.
HPUD llevara a cabo ejercicios de válvulas en Heber. El ejercicio de válvulas es el cierre y la apertura de válvulas de agua a un ritmo lento para garantizar que no se atorren. Manhole Sewer Cleaning/ Limpieza de alcantarillado
HPUD will be conducting a manhole cleaning on September 6th to the 16th. It is advised for customers to please keep their toilet lids closed in the unlikely case that toilet water has unintended spills during the manhole sewer cleaning. This cleaning will take place on Pitzer Road, Clifford Ave, Main St, and Rockwood Ave. Please see map for more information. Overall, sewer cleaning is a benefit to HPUD and its customers. Sewer cleaning provides reduced odor, improved drainage to our plant, and overall improves efficiency in the wastewater department.
La limpieza de alcantarillas de drenajes está programada el 6 al 16 de septiembre. Se recomienda a los clientes que mantengan cerradas las tapas de los excusados para evitar que el zapotillo de agua durante la limpieza de la alcantarilla de drenaje.
